Inspiring more young people to do more sport
24th - 28th June 2013
Since 2009, nearly 9 million pupils and 84% of schools in Britain have taken part in Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week. In 2012 the Olympic and Paralympic Games came to the UK and we had an amazing time! Schools took part, inspiring young people through the Torch Relay, staging their own Games during National School Sport Week and welcoming the world’s athletes and cultures on London 2012 World Sport Day.
Now the Games are over, we want to continue the enthusiasm that young people have for sport and start planning for the next National School Sport Week, taking place from 24-28 June, 2013.
This is your opportunity to keep the momentum going in your school and engage the wider community to enjoy sport and activity. We’ll be taking the most inspirational ideas and strategies and showing you how to make them work in your school, engaging all your pupils in a week-long celebration of school sport
Whatever your school, whatever your resources, there’s something fun and positive you can do as part of Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week.
- Inter/Intra School Participation
